Howard Stern to Replace Simon Cowell on American Idol?

There have been loads of rumors about who will replace Simon Cowell when he departs his judge’s seat on American Idol after this season… but Howard Stern?
I’m not sure I’m believing this, but PageSix is reporting that Fox is courting Howard Stern to take over for Simon.
A source tells PageSix that Howard Stern is their top choice for American Idol judge, and that Stern has been approached with an Idol offer since his Sirius XM Radio deal expires next January.
Stern isn’t confirming the rumor, but recently had said: “I was approached by a major TV network to take over a TV show and leave here and do that next year — and I did turn it down . . . I’m not even sure if I want to be working. I’m waiting to see what happens.”

Simon is cute even if he is not so kind to the contestants. This long hair man really looks … uhhhmmm… what’s the word.. “scary” … no offense meant. Oh well, I shouldn’t judge him this early. So sorry. Anyways, good luck to the wannabees.
