“Heroes” star Hayden Panettiere is set to star in the film “I Love You, Beth Cooper,” playing yet another cheerleader.

Hayden Panettiere will star in the romantic teen comedy as a cheerleader who is the object of the geeky valedictorian’s affection.

“I Love You, Beth Cooper” is written by former “Simpsons” writer Larry Doyle and will be directed by Chris Columbus (”Night at the Museum,” “Harry Potter”).

Next up for Hayden Panettiere is the drama “Fireflies in the Garden,” opposite Julia Roberts.
