Guiding Light Canceled; CBS Cancels Soap Opera Due to Declining Ratings
Sad news for fans of the long running soap opera Guiding Light – CBS has canceled the daytime sudser due to declining raings.
Guiding Light got its start on radio in 1937 before moving to TV in 1952. Guiding Light’s last episode will air September 18.
Be on the lookout for yet another talk show or game show to fill the void left by the Guiding Light cancellation.
