Grey’s Anatomy’s Ratings Are Down
Someone has to do something about Grey’s Anatomy. The show has had 3.5 million fewer viewers this year than last year, going from 23.9 million viewers to 20.2 million. Talk about a kick in the pants.
Granted, most TV shows viewings are down because of TiVo and internet viewers, but Grey’s is doing even worse than its competitors - several of whom have actually had a rise in numbers, including “House” and “Dancing With The Stars.” There aren’t really any explanations yet, with the exception of competition from “Ugly Betty,” as CSI, it’s main competitor is still holding it’s own, even with fewer viewers.
Even with the numbers going down, Grey’s Anatomy was the fourth most-watched show, and the most-watched show on TiVo. Not bad.
