TMZ.com is reporting that “Grey’s Anatomy” star Justin Chambers (Dr. Alex Karev) checked himself into the UCLA Medical Center psych ward earlier in the week. Justin Chambers checked in Monday but left yesterday (just before Britney arrived, perhaps?).

Justin Chambers’ rep confirmed the rumor, saying that Chamber was “exhausted and suffers from a sleeping disorder and went in voluntarily to get some help.” He is a father of five kids, after all — exhaustion sounds just about right.
