Well, you knew it was going to be a dramatic and sad Grey’s Anatomy finale… but the big questions – Did Izzie die? What happened to George? Spoilers ahead…

The good news – Izzie’s brain tumor is removed. The bad? She has no short term memory post-surgery and keeps forgetting things she was told or said herself just minutes before.

Alex keeps at her and challenges her to hang on to her memory – then Izzie remembers! And then… she goes limp. No way!

And the end? Both Izzie and George (an unidentified John Doe victim who they discover is George in the final minutes of the episode) are seemingly on death’s door, meeting up at the elevator.

Izzie is in the elevator looking gorgeous and George is dressed in an army uniform (looking adorable) – but, does this mean both George and Izzie died? Anything can happen… but now we wait until next season!
