Gossip Girl star Blake Lively had quite a scare earlier this week – her father, Ernie, was in a car crash on Monday that left him in critical condition with back and lung injuries. Blake Lively’s dad is on the upswing now, recovering from the accident.

According to Blake’s mom, Elaine:

“He’s going to make a full recovery, thankfully. It was a horrific accident. Blake is here, the whole family is here, and yesterday it didn’t look good. But thankfully, now we have been told he is going to make a full recovery.”
