Worst idea ever? Gossip Girl producers are planning a spin-off series set at a girls boarding school. The new show would either star Taylor Momsen (Jenny Humphrey) or possibly a new character will be introduced on Gossip Girl and later star in the new series.

Taylor Momsen’s Jenny seems like a likely candidate for the spin-off because in the Gossip Girl book series, Jenny faces a number of public embarrassments that cause her to either repeat ninth grade or find a new school.

Of course, the Gossip Girl spin-off is just talk at this point. The new series has not yet been picked up by the CW.
