If the writers’ strike is still going on when the Golden Globes are scheduled, Alec Baldwin is offering to host the event at his Manhattan apartment, rather than attend the actual Globe ceremony.
“I have cleared all of this with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. The HFPA makes only one simple request and that is that you pre-order your meal selection NO LATER than Friday, January 4th, 2008.”
So, what’s on Alec Baldwin’s Golden Globe menu?
“Tuna Salad, whitefish salad or egg salad (choice of one)… Potato salad, macaroni salad, coleslaw (choice of two) … Liter of red or white wine or 6 (six) cold bottles of Amstel (promotional) complimentary.”
Let’s hope the strike ends and Baldwin and the “30 Rock” gang can attend the Golden Globes. Wouldn’t want them to have to suffer through tuna sandwiches.
