A gay dating ad for the Super Bowl is being considered by CBS, but will the gay dating ad for ManCrunch make it on air during the Super Bowl?

The ManCrunch gay dating commercial is in the video clip above – showing two male football fans reach for the chips and then proceed to make out. CBS has not yet rejected the ad for the Super Bowl, but we’ll see…

A rep for ManCrunch told Fox News “the spot hadn’t been officially approved yet,” but “all the Super Bowl spots were sold out.”

The rep continued: “ManCrunch requested the spot get reviewed anyway just in case another advertiser drops out and a spot becomes available, as often happens, and CBS agreed.”

CBS told Fox News “the ad is still under review, the process takes a little while….We still have a lot of ads we have yet to review.”

Is the gay dating website ad too controversial for Super Bowl viewing though?
