Sad news… Gary Coleman is dead at age 42, after his doctors took him off life support today.

Gary Coleman, who is best known for his role on “Diff’rent Strokes,” was in a coma and on life support after a fall in his home resulted in an intracranial hemorrhage injury.

Coleman suffered the injury Wednesday and was said to be conscious and lucid up until Thursday when he took a turn for the worse.

Last fall, Gary Coleman underwent heart surgery and has had two seizures this year and various health issues during his lifetime. Coleman made headlines for a 2009 domestic violence incident, and has had a rocky road with legal and financial problems in the past.
