Futurama: Bender’s Big Score on DVD
The popular TV Cartoon show on Adult Swim, Futurama, has made its first full-length. And, since the DVD is only 90 minutes long, it has put in some extras, including a reading of the Futurama comic book that ties the comic book extras in with the beginning of the movie. “Hypnotoad” is also included in the movie – basically, it’s a joke gag that is continually repeated, because that’s the way it works best.
In the movie, it’s 3007, right around Christmas, and some evil naked aliens have launched an attack on the Planet Express and “force” Bender to travel back through time and steal all of Earth’s precious historic treasure. Since Bender is thieving and selfish by nature, it’s not that hard for him. So the big question of the movie: Will Planet Express be able to save Earth?
