Did you catch “The Moment Of Truth” last night on Fox? Eh, kind of interesting, but a little slow-moving in my opinion. The first victim… er… contestant was Ty Keck, an ex-football player and now personal trainer. The questions reveal an awful lot about the contestants and all they need to do is tell the truth to get the payoff.

Ty Keck answered some controversial questions and some downright goofy ones, like “Did you ever sneak a peek at another player’s privates while taking a shower?” Come on.

Ty Keck’s wife Catia was front and center for some of the more squirm-worthy moments — Ty Keck had to answer the question “Do you think you’ve delayed having children because you’re not sure if Catia will be your lifelong partner?” (He answered yes, by the way). Ouch.

Overall, I guess this is an interesting experiment to find out if people are willing to tell the truth, no matter what the uncomfortable question, just to win cash. The long pauses that build suspense could be done away with, as could the dramatic music, but hasn’t that become the staple of the modern day game show?

In the end, Ty Keck doesn’t take home any money as he lies about whether he has touched a female more than he should have during a personal training session.
