Former Idol Paris Bennett Calls Show A “Joke,” Votes For Sanjaya
Paris Bennett votes for Sanjaya Malakar — and she hopes it’ll take down “American Idol.”
Paris called into the “Tone E Fly Morning Show” in Chicago on Friday, and called “Idol” “a joke,” and said she and a few other contestants are using the website VotefortheWorst.com to screw with the results.
“We want to see him [Sanjaya] win because it’ll kind of prove that ‘American Idol’ is kind of losing its taste,” says Bennett, “it kinda isn’t going for talent anymore and more for popularity.”

Paris should be ashamed. The show is not is not a joke. It is the voters like herself, who are voting for someone other than the best singer who are a joke. They are the ones who have changed the show. Sounds like she is just bitter becuase she did not get anywhere from being on the show. She should remember, what goes around comes around. And…if she’s going to do something low down and dirty, she should not advertise it and attach her name to it.
