I enjoy the show. I’m an Executive Chef as well. With many years of training. Army Food Service Quartermaster School. CIA, & hard knox. The man can cook. But, I feel he lacks kitchen management skills. His HACCP skills are laxed, and he barks to much. The show is hyped up. He needs to give his son back his T-shirts and dawn proper uniform attire. Cooking is intense at times. Proper Mise en place and direction are not utilized. My management skills revirt back to the Brigade system that us Old School Chefs learned from the start. Food Network. Do what you have to do to get ratings, but find chef’s that can run a proper kitchen and teach the public the true meaning of Culinary Arts.

I agree with Colette, shame on you if your actions are as she stated…..in that you possibly knew of background and used him for rating pumps!

My husband and I LOVE Robert and we want him back! NO ONE can replace him. We do NOT like his supposed replacement, so we’ve stopped watching that show. BRING ROBERT BACK! And, next time, do YOUR job in vetting your chefs. BRING ROBERT BACK! He was so enjoyable to watch and he was very inventive…as evidenced by his ‘resume’. BRING ROBERT BACK!

My comment is because of “DINNER IMPOSSIBLE”show … if you knew his background from the beginning then you wouldnt have to use him for PUBLICITY!

I feel your losing your credibility with letting the public know of the mishaps with your food network stars… like any other employment dont you do a background check first with people you hire to make your show money befor you hire them or do you hire them knowing they have a juicy background to pump up your show… your losing your credibility with the public is how I feel it!!!

I GUESS EVERYONE AT THE FOOD NETWORK IS SQUEEKY CLEAN. RIGHT. CHEF IRVINE WAS EXCITING, INOVATIVE AND TAUGHT YOU HOW TO THINK ON YOUR FEET AND USE WHAT YOU HAVE AT HAND. WHAT DID HE DO THAT WAS SO TERRIBLE. DO YOU PUT HIM IN BED WITH ENRON OR SOME OF OUR EXECUTIVES IN GOVERNMENT. IF YOU CAN’T GET THE BIG FISH, FIND A DISTRACTION TO BEAT ON. THE PROGRAMS MANAGEMENT IS BEING SELFISH. I WONDER, WHAT’S IN THEIR CLOSET????

Did he really claim that a grateful Queen gave him a castle in Scotland, lol! They wouldn’t even give the leader of the Tory party that!

The royal family are as tight fisted as they come. They are notorious for being able to persuade visiting foreign dignitaries to bring fabulous gifts with them and somehow get away with giving almost nothing of any real value in exchange. The monarchy don’t play fair, they are users. That is why they are called the monarchy and not the meritocracy!
