Oops. American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino’s Charlotte house is up for auction after going foreclosure rumors hit the web yesterday. Fantasia Barrino’s home is hitting the auction block because she failed to repay a company money it loaned her to cover her taxes in 2006.

Fantasia Barrino’s home is valued at $1.1 million and will be sold at auction in January. Barrino’s house isn’t in foreclosure, but the proceeds will compensate the company she owes.

Fantasia Barrino won the third season of American Idol and went on to Broadway to play Celie in The Color Purple. She’s nominated for a Grammy for “I’m His Only Woman,” which she performs with Jennifer Hudson.

Fantasia Barrino also wrote an autobiography titled “Life is Not a Fairy Tale.”
