Fans Get A Shot At Becoming An TRL VJ
TRL fans are getting a shot to co-host the show with popular MTV VJ Damien Fahey, courtesy of Acuvue®.
The MyTRL contest offers four fans a shot at joining hot TRL hosts on air live from Times Square.
To enter, contestants can log on to www.acuvue.mtv.com between February 19 and March 18 and answer six short questions designed to let the MTV judges know why they would make a great guest VJ. Contestants are also encouraged to showcase their style by uploading a personal photo. These are the first steps in a behind-the-scenes casting call that will culminate with the selection of four grand prize winners who will appear on TRL during the week of May 14. “We want to know what defines you… what celebrity would play you in a movie? Who’s on your dream TRL guest list?,” says Damien F. “We need to know who you are and what would make you the ultimate guest VJ.”
“While the entries are being judged, visitors can view highlight clips of TRL and pick their favorite moments,” Damien said.
