Another sad tale of a child star’s fall from grace… Family Ties’ star Brian Bonsall was arrested for assault in Colorado over the weekend.

Brian Bonsall starred as youngest sibling Andy Keaton on Family Ties – and this isn’t his first brush with the law.

Bonsall was charged with hitting his best friend with a bar stool – nice friend.

The arrest report says that Brian Bonsall remembered nothing about the assault.

Further, the report stated that “Bonsall then said that he and [his friend] Trujillo both are bipolar and like drugs. Bonsall said that he takes a lot of drugs and sometimes those drugs make him forget things.”

Bonsall had been wanted for more than a year for skipping a July 2008 court hearing.

Brian Bonsall, 28, was also arrested in 2004 for drunk driving and in 2007 for assaulting his girlfriend.
