Could Emeril Lagasse be getting the boot from Food Network? Hard to believe that after 10 years of “Emeril Live” (can I hear a “BAM!”?), Lagasse’s show is being shut down. “Emeril Live” will cease production on the Food Network on December 11th.

It’s not curtains for Emeril, however. Food Network will continue production of “Essence of Emeril” and the chef will still appear in specials on the network. You can still catch “Emeril Live” in reruns.

The network released a statement, saying:
“Emeril Live has been an incredible journey and a great collaboration between Emeril Lagasse and Food Network for over 10 years. Emeril has been the cornerstone of Food Network’s success and helped to pave the way for chefs on TV. Food Network and Emeril look forward to continuing our long partnership, and Emeril remains an integral part of the Food Network family.”
