Well isn’t “Grey’s Anatomy’s” Ellen Pompeo sneaky? She went off and got married on Friday and news of the nuptials is just breaking today. Way to fly under the radar!

Pompeo had teased of a small, private wedding when she told People in June, “There will be no ‘big’ anything. It’s going to be very small.” Pompeo married fiancé Chris Ivery at City Hall in Lower Manhattan. New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg served as their witness at the ceremony. Sunday night, the couple was spotted at the Knick’s game at Madison Square Garden.

Pompeo and Ivery (a record producer) grew up near Boston and met in 2003 in a Los Angeles grocery store. Ivery told People magazine last year, “One night she just looked different to me.”
