Ellen DeGeneres spoke out on Sarah Palin bein in favor of a federal ban on same-sex marriage and California’s Proposition 8 – check out the video clip from her October 22 show. I think Ellen DeGeneres handled this well – after all, doesn’t everyone have the right to be happy?

In the video clip, Ellen DeGeneres explains, “Maybe it’s because I’m gay that I think we should all be equal, but I feel that we’re all equal.” She continued, “people are gonna be who they’re gonna be, and we need to learn to love them for who they are and let them love who they want to love.”
