Ellen DeGeneres went for a more obscure costume for her October 31 Halloween show – she dressed as “change.” Decked out in a costume covered in coins, Ellen DeGeneres said:

“I said I was going to be something everyone was talking about — I’m ‘Change.’ It wasn’t my initial concept. You have to be very specific. That’s what I learned when you tell your wardrobe department what you want to be for Halloween. I said I wanted to look like a million bucks. This used to be a million bucks it’s kind of dwindled down now. I thought it would be a good message to send and also it’s really the best place to keep my money is on my body right now, that’s the safest thing.”
