Ellen DeGeneres’ Really Big Show”

Sure, Ellen DeGeneres has been getting a lot of flak for continuing her daytime chatfest during the writers’ strike, but that’s not got going to stop her from hosting the “Really Big Show” on TBS. If you haven’t heard about it, “Really Big Show” harkens back to those old variety shows, where it’s non-stop (if not always exciting) entertainment. Case in point, if you tune in, you’ll see jump roping and a woman who switches her outfit in a few seconds. Oh, yeah, and Lyle Lovett, Barry Manilow and Sheryl Crow will perform, as well as acrobats and magician Lance Burton. The nature of a variety show, I suppose — something for everyone.
