Elizabeth Berkley Joins “CSI: Miami”

Elizabeth Berkley, best known for playing Jessie Spano on “Saved by the Bell” and Nomi in “Showgirls,” is heading back to the small screen when she joins “CSI: Miami.” While she hasn’t completely fallen off the radar, she hasn’t been in anything noteworthy in quite awhile.
On “CSI: Miami,” Elizabeth Berkley will play Julia Winston, ex-wife of Horatio Caine (David Caruso) and mom to his teenage son, Kyle (Evan Ellingson). Maybe it’s because she’ll always be the girl from “Saved by the Bell” to me, but doesn’t she seem a bit young for this role?
Berkley will be a recurring character on “CSI: Miami,” although it’s not clear how many episodes she will appear on.

Oh, eww. I can’t even think of her as Jessie, because all I ever remember when I see her now is the way she licked the stripper pole and her really cheesy thrashing-about sex scene in Showgirls.
Maybe Horatio will get a lap dance!
