Elisabeth Hasselbeck to host Thin Ice
Elisabeth Hasselbeck just landed herself a little moonlighting gig – she will co-host the upcoming skating competition show “Thin Ice,” airing two nights in March 2010.

Thin Ice promises to have the greatest pro figure skaters competing for cash prizes.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck will be co-hosting with champion figure skater Kurt Browning; Kristi Yamaguchi and Dick Button will serve as judges.

Thin Ice airs March 19 (8 p.m. ET) and March 21 (7 p.m. ET) on ABC.

12 pro skaters will compete – so far only Shizuka Arakawa, Japan, 2006 Olympic gold medalist and Shae-Lynn Bourne, Canada, 2003 World Champion have been confirmed.

what the heck could she bring to this show? After all,she is just a reality show survivor that got lucky and landed a job on the view. Producers must be scraping the bottom of barrels.

I am sorry….but she is always questioning everyone else for their qualifications – what makes her qualified in ice skating? She does not even know how to skate! Let’s get real ABC!
