If you’ve been missing Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s bubbly personality (or conservative views) on “The View,” you’re in luck – her maternity leave is almost over.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who’s been on maternity leave since late October and gave birth to son Taylor Thomas on November 9th, is set to return to “The View” on Monday, January 7th.

In honor of Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s return, the gals of “The View” (Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Barbara Walters and Sherri Shepherd) will tackle an hour-long “Hot Topics” episode. ABC also promises a surprise guest.

According to ABC:

“She’s [Elisabeth Hasselbeck] never shy about expressing her view, so “Hot Topics” will be getting a whole lot hotter – especially with the upcoming presidential election. Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepard joined the show shortly before Elisabeth left, so there wasn’t much opportunity for all five co-hosts to interact. Now there will be a new dynamic at the “Hot Topics” table.”
