Duggar Baby 19: Michelle Duggar’s Emergency C Section Welcomes Josie to Duggar Family

Duggar family welcome baby 19, Josie
Duggar baby 19 was born yesterday – unexpectedly. Michelle Duggar’s emergency C-section ushered in baby Josie Brooklyn to the Duggar family.

Duggar baby 19 wasn’t due until spring, but Michelle Duggar was under observation for gallstone issues earlier in the week that caused contractions. Duggar needed an emergency C-section to deliver baby Josie, who weighed less than 2 pounds.

A rep for TLC and the Duggar Family released this statement:

“Michelle, who has been in the hospital recovering from a gallstone, was taken to the OR for an emergency c-section. Daughter Josie Brooklyn was born at 6:27 p.m., weight 1 pound, 6 ounces. Michelle is resting comfortably and the baby is stable in the NICU for extended care.

The most important thing right now is for Mom and baby Josie to get as much rest as possible. The family is grateful for all the prayers and well wishes during their recovery.”

Congratulations to the Duggar family for baby number 19!

    I think it’s wonderful that you said congratulations to the Duggar family for baby 19:o) I just read another article that called Michelle a “baby factory” which I thought was really insulting. It’s not for everyone, but this family is obviously well and thriving! Our prayers are with mom and the tiny new addition to their family:o)

    Hello to the best!!! I have watched the show since Jackson was so little,he could’nt clime up in the van. The girls are so gracious and the boys are going to be nice husbands some day. Michelle and Jim Bob,you ‘re doing wonderfull parenting with the children.I have 12 grandchildren and 4 great grand babies and I love yours too!!!
