Well, I’m no mathematician, but Britney Spears’ 72-hour lockdown was a little brief, dontcha think? Dr. Phil visited Britney Spears in the hospital earlier today, shortly after the hospital released her.
Dr. Phil visited Britney Spears Saturday morning and told Entertainment Tonight and The Insider:
“My meeting with Britney and some family members this morning in her room at Cedars leaves me convinced more than ever that she is in dire need of both medical and psychological intervention.
She was released moments before my arrival and was packing when I entered the room. We visited for about an hour before I walked with her to her car. I am very concerned for her.”
Britney Spears left the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center via an underground tunnel and is now in her Beverly Hills home.
Have no fear, Dr. Phil will be discussing more about his visit with Britney Spears on his show next week.
A source told Entertainment Tonight that “Britney is under the supervision of her family again.”

As someone who has been thru my own similar hell, admittedly without any type of media frenzy, I can say that it IS still possible for her to pull herself out. She will have to work harder on healing and changing than anything she has ever done in her life, and SHE must be the one who wants to change. It really is up to Britney now. I just hope she has the strength and is granted the privacy she needs to heal.
