The much anticipated interview of Dr. Jan Adams, the plastic surgeon who operated on Kanye West’s mother prior to her death, ended in a walk off. Many hoped the interview would uncover more details about whether her plastic surgery contributed to her death.

Dr. Adams hoped to clear up inaccurate reports that were circulating in the media, but once on the set, said Wests’ family requested that he not appear on Larry King’s program.

Adams told King, “I have a tremendous amount of love and respect for the West family and they have asked me not to go on. And I’ve said from the very beginning, I don’t have a side in this. They are my side and so I’m going to respect their wishes.”

Larry asked if Adams would eventually answer questions about Donda Wests’ death; Adams replied: “When they’re comfortable, then I’ll be comfortable. If they’re never comfortable then I’ll never be comfortable. They are what’s important to me. I said that from the start and that’s what I’ll continue to honor.”
