Donald Trump on Celebrity Apprentice: “Best Apprentice We’ve Done”

Donald Trump
Never one to shy away from shameless self-promotion, Donald Trump is hailing the upcoming season of “Celebrity Apprentice” as one of the best. Yeah, I’m not surprised he would say that.

Another thing I’m not surprised about? The possibility that there could be future installments of “Celebrity Apprentice.” After all, if the ratings are there, The Donald is certain to churn out as many as possible.

According to Donald Trump:

“I think it’s important to say for every person we took on, we turned down five. I never knew there were so many celebrities, to be honest with you.

“It turned out to be, I think, the best Apprentice we’ve done and that includes Apprentice Number One which actually became, for many weeks, the number one show on television.”

The “Celebrity Apprentice” contestants are country artist Trace Adkins, supermodel Carol Alt, actor Stephen Baldwin, gymnast Nadia Comaneci, Playboy Playmate of the Year Tiffany Fallon, Olympic softball player Jennie Finch, “The Swan” creator and television producer Nely Galan, actress Marilu Henner, boxer Lennox Lewis, “America’s Got Talent” judge Piers Morgan, mixed martial arts fighter Tito Ortiz, actor Vincent Pastore, KISS singer Gene Simmons, and first season “Apprentice” contestant Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth.

Donald Trump is ready for future celebrity editions, saying: “If people really like this, we could do another – conceivably, another celebrity one as opposed to going back to the regular.”

“Celebrity Apprentice” will premiere January 3 at 9 PM (ET).
