DJ AM Found Dead; Adam Goldstein Dead of Apparent Drug Overdose

Tragic news – DJ AM was found dead today in his Manhattan apartment. Details are being released that point to a drug overdose as the cause of Adam Goldstein’s death.
DJ AM/Adam Goldstein was just 36.
A rep for DJ AM issued this statement: “Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein was found deceased this afternoon in his New York City apartment. The circumstances surrounding his death are unclear. Out of respect for his family and loved ones, please respect their privacy at this time.”
It’s being reported that drug paraphernalia was found in his apartment.
DJ AM and Travis Barker survived a plane crash in September 2008, though he was critically injured and burned.
Adam Goldstein, who was previously linked with Nicole Richie and Mandy Moore, was working with MTV to launch a drug intervention reality show.
