Orson survived his fall from the roof, but in the process, remembered his mother killing Monique and pulling her teeth to disguise the body’s identity.

While recovering in the hospital, he figured out that his mother was trying to kill Bree. When he walked in on her setting up a fake suicide, he realized Mom had done the same thing with his father years ago, blaming the death on Orson. In the ensuing battle, Gloria suffered a stroke, and Orson made it look as if she’d done so discovering Alma’s dead body. (Alma fell from the attic while trying to break out from where Gloria had locked her.) Orson set the bag of teeth next to Gloria and Alma, thus freeing Mike from murder charges. The stroke left Gloria paralyzed and unable to speak, and Orson walked out of her life forever.

Over at the Scavo house: Lynette fouled up the pizzeria’s chair order, and for a while at the restaurant opening, Tom won’t talk to her. But the opening was a juicy success, and the Scavos made up.

Zach tricked Gaby into thinking they’d done the oochie wally, but when Carlos spotted Zach’s, um, oversized equipment, he realized Gaby would not have forgotten that. Still, Zach proposed to Gaby, who turned him down and told him she could never love him. This led Carlos to confess that he, too, is having trouble thinking of Gaby as a platonic pal.
