How great was the season finale of Desperate Housewives last night? Not only was the mystery of Katherine’s daughter, Dylan, wrapped up, but the final minutes gave Desperate Housewives a glimpse into the future as the show caught us up with the housewives five years from now.

So, what’s going on at Wisteria Lane in five years?

I was thrilled to find out that Gabby is not so glamorous and has two daughters, Bree is super successful as a cookbook author and her son, Andrew, is her agent (oh, and she and Orson are still together), Lynette’s sons are delinquents, Katherine’s daughter is getting married, and most shocking — Susan is no longer with Mike! (What?!)

The Desperate Housewives season finale flash forward is a genius way to pump some life back into the series and ended the season on a high note.
