No doubt Dennis Farina has carried a gun plenty of times in both his real life roles (he’s an ex-Chicago police officer) and on screen (Miami Vice, Law and Order), but yesterday the “What Happens in Vegas” star was arrested when security found a gun in his suitcase at LAX.

According to Dennis Farina, he said he had “forgotten” about the loaded, .22-caliber, semiautomatic pistol in his carry-on suitcase.

Dennis Farina was initially charged with a misdemeanor, but the charges were bumped to a felony because the weapon was not registered.

Dennis Farina was booked on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon and for carrying a loaded firearm in a public place. His bail was set at $35,000.
