“Deal or No Deal” Sued! “Lucky Case Game” A Form Of Illegal Gambling?

Four Georgia women have filed suit against NBC alledging that the ‘Deal or No Deal’ Lucky Case Game is a form of illegal gambling.
The Plantiffs claim that because they had to pay $.99 to enter the game that certifies it as a form of illegal gambling.
The ‘Deal or No Deal’ Lucky Case Game prompts viewers to text the number of the case that believe holds the coveted cash.
Contestants may enter for free on the internet, but must pay $.99 cents to enter via text message.
The Plantiffs are seeking unspecified damages.
