David Letterman Reaches Agreement with Writers Guild of America

Wow. David Letterman was able to reach an agreement with the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and return in January with a full writing staff.
Both “Late Show with David Letterman” and “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” which are owned by David Letterman’s Worldwide Pants production company, will return on Wednesday. Under the agreement between Letterman’s production company and WGA, the full writing staffs for both shows will return.
Letterman said, “I am grateful to the WGA for granting us this agreement. This is not a solution to the strike, which unfortunately continues to disrupt the lives of thousands. But I hope it will be seen as a step in the right direction.”
