David Cook Cancels Concert Shows Due to Family Matters

American Idol winner David Cook had to chancel two shows from his concert tour “to deal with personal family matters.”
While David Cook did not go into detail in the announcement he posted on web site, it’s entirely possible that his brother’s health could be the family matter. When David Cook was competing last season on Idol, we learned that his brother Adam has been battling brain cancer.
Cook’s rep says that David will be back on his tour on Thursday; he canceled shows in New Hampshire and Connecticut.
Look for David Cook in a taped performance on tonight’s April 1 American Idol results show.
As or the missed concert venues, his site says, “David would like everyone to rest assured that we are working with the universities to reschedule the shows that are missed.”
Here’s hoping everything is okay with David and his family.
