There’s been a lot of rumors swirling about David Carradine’s cause of death – the Kung Fu actor was found dead in a Bangkok hotel room, in what looked like a hanging suicide.

David Carradine’s rep is calling the actor’s death “accidental,” though he was found hanging with a rope around his neck and “other parts of his body.”

Carradine was nude, hanging in the closet, when he was discovered by a hotel maid.

David’s rep released this statement: “We can confirm 100% that he never would have committed suicide. It was an accidental death. Everybody is in shock.”

Given the nature of how his body was found, it appears that Carradine’s accident was the result of a sex act gone wrong (autoerotic asphyxiation).

An autopsy will be conducted to confirm the cause of death.
