Daughtry Wins Breakthrough Artist and Two More at AMAs
Last night’s American Music Awards offered up plenty of winners, including “American Idol” castoff Chris Daughtry. His band, Daughtry, took home the breakthrough artist award at the event. “American Idol” winner Carrie Underwood, who won the American Music Award for breakthrough artist last year, presented the award.
Daughtry later went on to win favorite pop-rock album and adult contemporary artist.
