Chris Daughtry continues to prove that winning American Idol isn’t all that important - what matters is getting in the top ten and then sticking around long enough to build a solid fan base. Daughtry sold 3.2 million copies of their self-titled album, and according to Billboard that leads the album straight to the top of the chart as the most popular one of the year.
