Huh. I though the final list of patients for the upcoming second season of Celebrity Rehab was already in place, but it looks like there may be a late entry. CSI’s Gary Dourdan is rumored to be joining the roster for Celebrity Rehab on VH1.

You may recall Gary Dourdan’s recent brush with the law, when he was found sleeping in his car parked on the wrong side of the road and arrested for drug possession. The actor was not sentenced to jail time, although he did pay a $4,500 fine and was ordered to complete a drug program.

The National Enquirer is reporting that Gary Dourdan is joining Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew Pinsky. According to a source for the tabloid, “Gary knows he screwed up, but he wants to stay in the public eye. He didn’t think twice about doing the show. He’s used to being on TV.”

No word from the people at Celebrity Rehab, so this may just be a rumor. Currently, the cast includes Sean Stewart, Tawny Kitaen, Jeff Conaway, Amber Smith, Rodney King, Guns N’ Roses’ Steven Adler and Nikki McKibbon.

Celebrity Rehab started filming on Monday and will air on VH1 in October.
