Has Craig Ferguson been cancelled? Ferguson’s monologue last night got people a little nervous, as he joked that it was his last show following the David Letterman scandal.

Check out the video clip, where Craig Ferguson explains it’s his job as Late Late Show host to joke about the top story of the day – which just happens to be his boss’ sex scandal.

Ferguson says during the monologue, “The person you work for, the person you admire and respect, is caught in an embarrassing situation. And your job is to be funny about that, whilst trying to keep your own job.”

“So this is my last show,” Ferguson joked.

Craig Ferguson commented: “If we are now holding late-night talk show hosts to the same moral accountability as we hold politicians or clergymen, I’m out. I’m gone.”
