Spywitnesses snitch that producers of Ugly Betty may have been after rocker Courtney Love to appear on the award-winning ABC series.

According to sources, Court was going to appear on the show, but for some reason plans for her shoot fell through. Although the shoot was apparently rescheduled for later dates, it still never happened.

Ugly’s rep insists Love was never in talks to appear. Courtney’s rep says he hasn’t known of any Ugly plans:

“I haven’t heard a word about anything in television, but she’s met with some really good [movie] studio people,” Love’s rep said. “She’s is certainly interested in the movie business, but I think her main focus right now is her new album.”
