Comedy Central Cancels The Sarah Silverman Program

Not a big surprise here, but Comedy Central has canceled The Sarah Silverman Program after three seasons.
Sarah Silverman earned an Emmy nomination last year for the series and a Twitter campaign was underway to save it, but really, the show was lucky to even see season 3 (the network was going to cancel it for budgetary reasons in 2009).
The writing was on the wall when Comedy Central moved The Sarah Silverman Program from 10:30 p.m. to midnight. No worries for Silverman, who has other projects lined up and a new book out.
