Clay Aiken Admits He’s Gay, Cover of People Magazine
It doesn’t seem so much of a surprise – but Clay Aiken has officially announced that he’s gay, gracing the cover of People magazine with the headline, “Yes, I’m gay.”
Clay Aiken, the American Idol runner-up, has long been rumored to be a closeted gay man. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but he finally wanted to put the rumors to rest.
Clay Aiken’s admission that he’s gay is, in his words, a way to show his newborn child how to be truthful. Aiken says, “I cannot raise a child to lie or hide things.”
Clay Aiken’s friend recently gave birth to their baby boy, Parker Foster Aiken; she was artificially inseminated with Aiken’s… ahem… “sample.”
