Some years ago, I suggested that Ms Ross embrace her Alabama roots. At that time, it was my understanding that she would spend some time in Bessmer, Ala . Friends of mine said it was announce at the Kennedy Honors, her birthplace is Uniontown, Al. That is just a Stone’s throw from Selma. I invite the Ross family home for a visit. Jubilee Celebration will be a great time, check out the Voter’s Rights Museum website.
