Chris Noth to Leave Law & Order: Criminal Intent; Jeff Goldblum Joins Cast

Chris Noth has decided to leave Law & Order: Criminal Intent after three seasons with the series, while Jeff Goldblum has signed on to join the cast in the upcoming season.
Series creator Dick Wolf said of Jeff Goldblum joining the cast of Criminal Intent, “Jeff’s presence will add a new dimension to an already successful show.”
Chris Noth played Detective Mike Logan on the original NBC series from 1990 to 1995, as well as in a “Law & Order” TV movie and took the role to “Criminal Intent” beginning in 2005. The show’s seventh season airs Sundays on USA.
