Rumors of a Cherry Jones split up started when Jones didn’t thank Sarah Paulson when accepting her Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. Jones told Us Magazine, “We’re not together anymore, but we’re still dearest of friends.”

Cherry Jones, who plays 24’s female U.S. president, admits the split up is anything but sad, saying, “It’s the happiest break-up that’s ever been. We grew so much together and now we can send each other off with a kiss and great love.”
