Celine Dion on Oprah
Celine Dion sang on The Oprah Winfrey Show on Monday, November 12, 2007, while beyond performing, she dished with Oprah about performing in Vegas and raising a child in the spotlight.
While there she talked to Oprah about performing in Las Vegas, saying “Every night that the show started it was kind of a new day.” Though it might have been a joke - as the show’s called “New Day”, Oprah also said that the concert is never boring, but exciting and demanding.
About her son, Celine confided that it’s difficult to raise him at time in the spotlight. Rene-Charles has just tarted to realize that not everyone’s parents are on TV or get followed around when they’re out in public. “He’s got to share his mom and dad most of the time when we go out… And that’s why he doesn’t want to go out a lot. I notice that he always wants to stay home.”
Celine sang some popular favorites, including “I Drove All Night,” “My Heart Will Go On,” as well as some songs from her new album, “Taking Chances” which came out on Tuesday.
