CNN’s Showbiz Tonight reports on the future of “Zoey 101,” and the buzz is that Jamie Lynn Spears will not be fired from the series.

TV executives at Nickelodeon reportedly don’t think Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy poses a threat to the “Zoey 101″ series. “Zoey 101″ is the number one series among “tweens,” ages 9 to 14 – Jamie Lynn Spears’ show also earns millions with merchandising and DVD sales. You can bet executives aren’t going to give all that up over a little teenage pregnancy scandal.

The third season finale of “Zoey 101” airs this Friday on Nickelodeon.

While Michael Lohan may not know about teenage pregnancy, he has weathered tabloid scrutiny about his very dysfunctional family – and now he’s offering up his advice to Jamie Lynn Spears and her family.

Michael Lohan, dad to Lindsay Lohan, is sticking up for the Spears clan, telling Extra:

“People just don’t realize what it’s like to live under the whirlwind that families like mine and the Spearses and other families out there are caught up in. It takes a lot to hold it together.”

Michael Lohan’s advice to mama Lynne Spears, Jamie Lynn and Britney? “Stand together. Stand by each other and don’t let anyone come between you.”

Aw, sounds like Dr. Phil is offering up his support for Jamie Lynn Spears’ mother, Lynne Spears. Lynne Spears parenting skills have come under fire for the missteps of daughters Britney Spears and Jamie Lynn Spears, but Dr. Phil McGraw is supporting her.

Dr. Phil told People magazine:

“We know the Spears family, particularly the parents. An asset that Britney and Jamie Lynn both have is a great and dedicated mother.”

Dr. Phil added that Lynn sears is “troubled right now” but is “really looking for the positives in this.” He believes that Lynn has “her feet squarely and solidly on the ground… I talked to Lynne yesterday and she said they’re turning to prayer, asked that I pray for them. That’s how they’re going to get through it.”

Here’s ridiculous for you. Jamie Lynn Spears’ pregnancy is apparently a huge wake-up call for parents to have to talk to their kids about sex, contraception, and pressure. There are articles popping up everywhere such as this one on how to use the Jamie Lynn saga to discuss it with your kids.

Good thing there are teen celebrities getting knocked up for stupid parents to get a clue.
